I once thrived off of your powerful energy
Now I am weak, you have become my enemy
What once were sunny days and shining nights
Has turned into a horror film filled with fright.

Afraid to close my eyes and sleep,
In fear of losing you in my dreams.
My mind is the only place where you'll forever stay
So I must protect my thoughts from running astray.
I am lost, wandering alone in the darkness,
You were my light, without you now I am sightless.

Can you hear my cries?
Do you feel my pain?
It seems as if all hope has died
This beautiful portrait horribly stained.
Our perfect image has become distorted
All attempts to save US has been thwarted.
