The Battle With Pride

You may think you have the answers to solve all of the problems,

But your mind remains clueless & refuses to blossom.

Not all can be solved on your behalf,

That must be a difficult truth to grasp.

You must be able to accept that you are not perfect,

And you will learn the need to show respect.

You cannot always have plans go the route you prefer,

Because there will come a time when your service is deterred.

Don't try to think so negative in that mind of yours,

The less positivity you have, there will be more closed doors.

Not all will manifest to be the way you would like,

The more you remain stuck behind this fence, the more you'll have to put up a fight.

There isn't any issue with trying to figure out a good solution,

Just don't always believe you're alone in finding the best conclusion.

Make sure you find a way to bring a smile to that face,

                             Overcome the bad storms & eventually you'll be at a steady pace.

Time has come to pass us by rapidly on our clocks,

And my thoughts of you as well have never stopped. 

Things may have turned out to be slightly different,

And of course I'll still feel like something is missing.

The lost piece to this crazy, intricate puzzle,

It awaits to be discovered in this wild jungle.

There may be solutions to overcome this crazy journey,

We must mend the pathway that's been tossing & turning. 

There will be new roads that will be created,

Grateful of what the old roads have stated.

I will ALWAYS express my love for you,

& understand that these thoughts speak the truth.

We cannot predict what the future can hold for us,

But thoughts remain slowly positive as I am in no rush. 

There is no limit to how I feel about this though, I hope you understand.
