2010

As the countdown begins, we start to reflect on this past year. For some of us, 2009 was a good year. For others, one of the worst. I've had the oppurtunity to get a taste of both. For one, I came into this year in a bad relationship & learned to get rid of it as soon as I could. Then, there were the fun times where it was beach all day, party all night. But we all know, most good things have to come to an end. A lot of people were lost this year to tragedies that for some, cannot be explained. I've had the chance to meet a lot of new people, some influential & some who just polluted my life w| bullshit. Now those who weren't good in my life, definitely won't be there in 2010.

A certain "cleansing of the soul" is in process you can say. Its all about new beginnings as we enter 2010. A whole decade gone already! Now, for some, there might be no reason to change & that's alright. But just remember, if you wanted to do something in these past years, NOW is definitely the time to start moving. As the years go by, all we're doing is getting older, so we need progress & prosperity. Another thing, we all need to learn that there is love out there & no reason to HATE people. Let's leave that in 2009. With that said, I wish everyone an Amazing 2010 & beyond.

Infidelity

He rises from the bed,
Glancing back at the figure that lays on top of the sheets.
"Was this a mistake?"
Now as he gathers up his clothes, he wonders,
"Why does something so bad feel so good?"

He lusts for her touch,
She's becoming irresistable, his guilty pleasure.
But does he realize exactly what he's doing?
Forbidden encounters with his mistress,
He dances to a slow melody of temptation,
As he secretly destroys his matrimony.
His dissatisfaction is a mystery,
Yet his desires are quite evident.

He believes he is ahead of the game.
Foolish man, this is one game you won't win.
He feeds her lies,
Satisfying her hunger for affection.
His words charming, comforting at once.
But underneath it all, he is deceitful.

The thrill of a reckless adventure,
Will he ever learn?

What Do You See?

Tears fall like raindrops..
Rivers form and create oceans of sadness..
The sadness of a broken heart,
Torn to pieces.
Feelings are the shattered pieces of glass.
Bruised patterns scattered on her skin.
Hair disheveled, face all red.

She has no spirit..
Ripped from her with a sharp knife.
Along with her love for a man,
Who never loved her back
And only used her.
Flowing emotions that noone understands.

Through the eyes of a stranger,
Shes emotionally unstable..
So tell me now,
What do you see??

Daddys Little Girl

Daddy's little girl,
But Daddy was never around.
Never gave her the world,
Just that same old frown.

So who's her daddy now?
The men who run in & out of her life?
The ones that were only there for a good time?

Now she looks for love in all the wrong places.
Exchanging smiles & words with all the wrong faces.

Daddy, where are you?
This girl has looked everywhere.
Her life has been a blurred view,
And Daddy was hardly ever there.
She wanted his love, the type a daughter deserves.
But all she got was heartbreak in return.

FantasyLand

Let me take you to a special place,
Where everything feels so right.
Somethin' like outer space,
& the freaks come out at night.

Flashing lights,
Beautiful people passing by,
Imagination becomes reality before your eyes.

Let's take a flight,
To experience amazing times,
See a part of a world that I call mine.

Scenery like it came out of a fantasy,
I'll show you things you've never seen.
So come ride with me,
I promise to get u back safely.

Pump The Brakes

Young lady, why do you cry?
What happened to that fire in your eyes?
There was once upon a time when you were full of life.
But now, its like that lively young woman has died.

What could have caused this?
Maybe it was the way you lived?
What to do now, when its all just passed you?
Is there any way to change that careless fool?

Not a care in the world you had,
No time to waste on thinking about the past.
But wipe those tears now, don't focus on the bad.
Just SLOW DOWN! Life doesn't have to move so fast.

Searching For Her ...

Little girl, little girl,
Where art thou?

I've been searchin' around the world,
But you're gone now.

Lost innocence & barbie games,
Disappear now, it'll never be the same.

Little girl, little girl,
Why did you have to go?

Precious as a pearl,
& heart as pure as snow.

But say good bye to the little girl who once was,
Trapped in this corrupt realm of horrible buzz.

I try to bring that little girl back into my days,
But she has forever withered away.

Maybe someday she will return to me.
Back where she's supposed to be.
Wrapped tightly, safe in my arms,
Away from all types of harm.

Decisions

So there once was this girl,
Who was torn between two worlds.
She didn't know which one to choose.
Yet with each, she had something to lose.
"This isn't an easy decision," she says to herself.
So she looks at what she dealt.
Both promise a good future,
Yet which one would best suit her?

Decisions decisions,
They can be big or small.
But with whichever you make,
Be sure its worth it all..
