It's such a blessing that you've brought a smile back to my face,

You've helped me fight my crazy battles with some grace. 

Just know that my love for you is true,

In the past, I've hit some bumps on the road of Life,

Now there's smooth sailing, my path is no longer filled with strife. 

I'm so fulfilled with the happiness & love that you show me,

This match we've made is quite perfect, I think you would agree. 

Now, I am grateful for the twists & turns I've had to endure,

Because it has brought me to a destination that is so secure. 

Safe from the storm that has crossed my path,

I am so happy to have found a love that is going to last. 

Along The Road

As much as you'd like things to change,

There are some consequences that you must face.

Just remember to always place yourself first,

What happens will happen, be sure you do your self search. 

Not all can just be so perfect for you,

But eventually you will know what to do.

There may be some mishaps & falls along the road,

No worries though, you will remain in drivers mode.

Broken Promises

I believed in your words as if they were written in stone,

Yet your actions spoke different from what I am told.

We can't always ask for everything to be so perfect,

I would have thought it would come together to be certain.

We shouldn't always go with what we see at first sight,

Time will always reveal if these decisions were made right. 

I couldn't run with what was pitched to me like a fastball,

It was thrown my way & there was the risk of a downfall. 

There were promises that have been broken like shattered glass,

It's alright for you to now remove that deceiving mask. 

After the darkness, the sun is shining bright,

The deceit has been revealed & all has come to light.

Beautiful Monster

As you look & gaze into her BEAUTIFUL, enchanting eyes,

Be aware that it is possible for her to deceive you with lies. 

She may provide you with a small sense of security,

But in the end of it all, she will reveal her impurity.

Also remember you must treat her with the utmost respect,

Because if you don't, you will experience the neglect. 

She is what may help you with struggles at times,

And don't forget, she may not last once you've got through your prime. 

The moments you will experience with her may be worthwhile,

Always keep in your mind that she tends to run, that is her style. 

She can be a MONSTER at times when she is needed most, 

That's when you will realize, she could disappear just like a ghost.

You are seeking a surrounding that isn't full of war & lies.

As you make your path through life's broken grounds,

Be prepared as you become more aware of disturbing sounds.

Not all could be revealed to be so perfect,

But the truth will emerge & you may ease yourself with respect.

Beware of the illusion that has flooded your vision,

The blurred forecast may affect your decisions. 

In the end of it all, this piece of gold will reveal it's true hue. 

Now comes the time where you must decide what you're going to do.

Yet this piece of gold may be transitioned into something more valuable,

You just need to accept the truth that is undeniable. 

It will never be exactly what you would like to have,

But eventually, it will be appreciated & worthy of a grasp. 

The Battle With Pride

You may think you have the answers to solve all of the problems,

But your mind remains clueless & refuses to blossom.

Not all can be solved on your behalf,

That must be a difficult truth to grasp.

You must be able to accept that you are not perfect,

And you will learn the need to show respect.

You cannot always have plans go the route you prefer,

Because there will come a time when your service is deterred.

Don't try to think so negative in that mind of yours,

The less positivity you have, there will be more closed doors.

Not all will manifest to be the way you would like,

The more you remain stuck behind this fence, the more you'll have to put up a fight.

There isn't any issue with trying to figure out a good solution,

Just don't always believe you're alone in finding the best conclusion.

Make sure you find a way to bring a smile to that face,

You may feel trapped in this odd puzzle that lays before you ,

There must be a way your struggle tree can mend into something brand new.

Tend to the damaged weeds surrounding you & yank them out,

There needs to be some light shining down from the sun,

Don't hide from it, it's almost impossible to run.

Just envision the progress that will enter your life,

The struggle should be over soon, to the end with strife. 

Always learn to protect yourself with your strong fighting hands,

Your combat boots should help you when you need to stand.

Don't forget about how the past helped mold you,

A few scratches that can be healed with some mending glue.

No worries, everything will fall right into place,

Keep a smile displayed on that wonderful face.

Surround yourself with as much love as you can receive.

Concrete Jungle

We walk through our surroundings at a fast, confusing pace,

What will come our way we must learn how to face.

You don't know what can come out of the dark, thick bush,

But you have to strive through this & get a little PUSH. 

Running wild are all the fierce animals around you,

Just learn how to fight them nobly throughout the feud. 

Not all can be perfect in this wild, crazy jungle,

But you'll eventually be able to get past the struggle.

It can get quite a bit confusing when you’re stuck on this busy, broken road,

But once you've learned Life's lessons, you'll be cleared & placed in drivers mode.

Keep those eyes open & very focused on what's in front of you,

Once you've figured it out, you will never lose! 

These crazy animals will want to attack & pounce on their prey,

You must fight back to succeed to another day.

You'll be able to see that all will be amazing for you in your life,

Once the road has cleared, you'll be prepared for the wild ride.

Strength

Strength is always obtained from within you,
It's understandable when times go hard you don't know what to do,
You have to remember to keep that head held up high,
Yet here will be some times when you would want to cry.

But wipe those tears from your eyes beautiful soldier,
It's definitely understandable that it got harder as you got older.
You have to be able to overcome these slight rough patches,
No worries, you'll get so much joy when the "tough life" plane crashes.

Once you've won the battle, things will be amazing, your dreams will come true,
Just have some faith in yourself, you will prosper with whatever you'd love to do.
Young soldier you've fought your fair round of inner battles and wars,
You win some, you lose some but now things will be better than before.

Striving For Victory

There are certain events in life that won't be great,

Yet sometimes it may be worth the wait.

Some do say that everything happens for a reason,

A lot of people's emotions can change just like the seasons.

Remember when it does get cold that you bundle up,

Make sure your hands are covered and you keep your neck tucked.

Keep warm because in these times it can be rough,

Life won't be so easy, it is a tad bit tough.

When you focus on what you would really like,

Anything you have done will be worth the fight.

Don't forget that YOU are in charge of your destiny,

Then once you have what you were searching for, your mind will be free.

Patience is a virtue you must ensure inside of you,

No rush is required now to do what you'd like to.

Take your time darling, no need to rush,

The return of success will come to you with so much luck.

Warrior

You will fight to make everything go your way,

As long as you feel it's right, things won't go astray.

You have to strive for whatever it is that you like,

Just make sure what is being done is right.

There's so many different turns you can make,

You will know eventually what turns can be so great.

Keep your warriors sword accompanied by your side,

Then fasten the seatbelt for this wild ride.

So many different twists & turns ahead of the road,

But just make sure you have your ride in drivers mode.

You can't just have your ride stuck in neutral,

Placing it into drive for you is very crucial.

You have to sometimes put up a little fight,

Just until what you get feels so right.

Remember to have those guards of yours protected,

Once you've fought, they will never get neglected.

So put up a noble fight you are so devoted,

Once you have your crown, you can never be demoted. 

You've become so strong throughout these hard nights & days,

One day you'll be able to overcome this crazy maze.
