The Battle

Today begins a new trail I must travel on

One that seems so familiar, I am forced to carry along.

These troubles that have raised me up,

From under the depths where I felt there was no luck. 

I must fight these battles like the WARRIOR I am

There is no other way to reach stable land

They say they know but they don’t understand. 

It isn’t quite easy, dare to take my hand?

A long quest must be travelled through, are you ready?

This one is sure a fight, hold on keep steady. 

The Purpose

Trying to get through the battles I am forced to face,

This wasn’t going to be easy, it is almost like one difficult race. 

So many roads I went down in these times,

Not sure which is the right way, when will I find that sign?

Looking back, I have to admit there were plenty of twists and turns,

How did I make it here? I know there have been lessons learned. 

You might not see what I can through these eyes,

But there’s no need, this vision is my own, I only hope to rise. 

Getting past the struggles, I only hope for better days,

Hopefully the time will come when all of these steps lead to the perfect open stage.
